K-IADL: Korean Instrumental Activities of Daily Living scale.
For the larger 3-year longitudinal study, we initially estimated the required sample size using R (generalized linear mixed model, effect size=0.30, k=2, power=0.80, α=0.05, df=30), yielding a minimum of 106 participants. The study protocol has been published elsewhere [30].

Other models explored included transformer, hidden Markov models, k-nearest neighbors, ensemble models, and probabilistic classifiers like Naïve Bayes. The choice of model depended on factors such as the nature of the data, the complexity of the classification task, and desired performance metrics.
Summary of the machine learning models used by studies in this review.
Quality assessment of the included studies identified several areas of potential bias.

The effects of AI assistance on user trust are reported by Kim et al [28] In summary, pharmacists’ trust varied by AI help type and the verification outcome. Overall, uncertainty-aware AI significantly increased pharmacists’ trust.
Pharmacists made the correct decision 91.3%, 93.1%, and 94.2% across all trials in the no-help, uncertainty-aware AI, and black-box AI blocks, respectively (χ22=12.5, P value=.001).

Consumer-Grade Neurofeedback With Mindfulness Meditation: Meta-Analysis
We had sufficient studies to analyze whether mindfulness was higher during neurofeedback than during control conditions (k=4, g=0.14) and whether the brain target was modulated more during neurofeedback than during control (k=5, g=0.12; Table 5 and Figure S5 in Multimedia Appendix 1). Neither effect was significant (P>.15). There was no indication of reporting bias.
